an enjoyable time...

we had a very eventful flight over...dog barking/howling, baby crying and a very very bumpy ride! But I must say we are happy to be here!

our first day, we got some sun (of course) and had already seen some marine life (from a distance of course). we saw whales from our condo, a turtle sticking his head up from just in front of the condo and.... this could be argued...sharks or manta rays! not sure

anyway we are having a wonderful time. walks on the beach. wading through the ocean. dips in the pool. catching rays on lounging chairs. smoothies and other good food!

enjoy your minus temps while we enjoy 27+ temps!

the beauties of MOTHER nature and OLD MAN winter...

this past week we've had some crazy winter weather... rain, which froze (obviously) and made the roads very treacherous to drive on (the gravel was worse!), then fog, then ice and fog, then some fresh snow to top it all off friday am.

november long wknd, we took off for a get-away. med hat, then up to elk point, ab. then off to edmonton!

here the clown is doing his own version of football (3 volunteers spin around a bat on the ground and run and kick the football....after spinning round and round 10 times, they were lucky to make it TO the football, let alone kick it! the audience picked the winner!)

on the way home, curt dropped me off in stoon for a workshop on monday. i got to stay with t&j and tegg... wouldn't miss hangin' with tegg!

My Birthday Rainbow...!!!

Last Wednesday, it rained.
Rained so much that a bright, lovely rainbow appeared.
Quite the sight to see on Dec. 8th. Something I don't think I will forget!

it's there...it really is!
