Father's Day Fishing Trip - Clarke Lake 2010

when the guys want to get away, they get away! for father's day, and the few days after, some boys and their fathers took off up north to Clarke Lake... for a fishing trip, to get away, to hang out...who knows what else! they had a blast and a fishin' good time!

tys was lucky to be able to go along with grampa and 2 uncles!

okay i won't complain about all the water in my basement... i think there are much bigger problems... especially in MAPLE CREEK!

a "wet" update

here is the latest update on the basement... still very wet wet!

and this isn't all that got wet!

good thing we haven't renovated down here yet... this will get fixed before too long! i think we're in the mood to start ripping apart now! but we'll see :)

and the floods came...

so i go downstairs today, only to discover our basement floor is soaked! we've had so much rain lately... just one example, yesterday we had over 3 inches!!!
lots have said, in all their years living here, they have never seen it rain like this!

now the joys of cleaning this mess up! now i will finally get my basement organized?!?! let's hope :)

i'm headed to my elliptical, when i hear squish squish and the water is running between my toes!

this is a 14 gallon shop vac... this is the first bucket full!

hoping for a sunny warm wknd, since this little mishap stopped us from going to the city for the wknd... something has to go right!

ryan and laura's wedding...

last wknd we had the privilege of attending ryan and laura's wedding... it was cool, wet and very muddy by the end of the day... gross weather, but they still got married! congrats ryan and laura, we wish you the very best!
