my helpers...

very grateful for my helpers at the end of April.

they came to prime, and paint first coat of the basement.

among doing other things curt convinced them to do.

easter wknd...

easter long wknd.
we took off to mom and dad's.
todd, juan & tegg met us there.
i went with dana and the kids. lee came with curt in the airplane.


as we drive up to the farm, we are greeted by dad, todd & tegg in the boat...boating in the ravine! wow, lots of water!

here you can see how much water there really is

april 18th and 20th we woke up to 3-4 inches of fresh snow... wondered if spring was ever going to come... then we have been blessed with 17-20 degrees this week! (fingers crossed it stays!)

baby dunnington has been so active in the last week. it is so so soooooo cool to feel the baby's movements!

our crazy weather...

here are some pics of the crazy weather we have had...these were taken march 27th this bank was as high as the hedge!

as I sit here and post these pictures, it is snowing/sleeting/hailing/raining...not sure what to call it.

and not too long ago it was thundering, lightning, and SNOWING!!!!!

basement reno update

here are some pics of the next progress. gyprock up, taped, mudded, sanded and ready to prime and paint... i think i have some helpers for that ;)

word of the month is "new"...new plane, new puppy, new vehicle, new basement, and NEWS!

a few new things around here... or at least new to us...

our plane got a "makeover"

in January we went and got our puppy... his name is BURT

our next project is a renovated basement...

changing the bathroom that was almost complete... but we've changed the layout and made it how we want...

he already has a new nicknames...as do the rest of the animals around our place!

now onto the next part of the project...the drywall...wow, what a pile!

we also traded in my '07 tahoe in for a 2010 tahoe...so that is what else is new... but more importantly....

the BIG NEWS.... (which everyone, or most everyone knows...).... there's a baby on the way!
