maybe i need more excitement in my life...???

it was so good to spend some time with Jocelyn (Goblin) at Aylesbury...good to see you, dear!

bad dog...

I made the mistake of leaving my garden bucket outside.

this what happens when you do such things and when you have a bad black puppy around!

quick trip to didsbury...

Curt and I decided to fly out to Didsbury, AB for the day July 17th. It was an awesome day to fly...a very smooth ride.  I wasn't sure if I could handle the 2.5 hours without a washroom, but I did it!

There were many perks to our trip...

- it was convention, of course

- we got to meet our new little niece, Adasyn

- we got to see Henry and Charmaine, our friends from Maui, HI

- and we got to see other friends and family



 uncle was very proud of his little niece

 and aunty was too, of course...in all my prego glory (34 weeks)

it was soooo good to see them!

Vintage Wings visits Swift Current Airport

On Thursday, July 14th, these cool planes flew into Swift Current. On Friday, they gave rides and shared information about these planes.  Many people came out to see the vintage wings - training airplanes that were used for WW2.



the Harvard Mark IV, which was an advanced trainer (pilots would train in the other two (below) before training in this plane)

 I have never heard such a loud small plane - 600 hp

 the Boeing Stearman biplane

 the Fairchild Cornell (which was used as a primary trainer)

The pilots gave rides in the morning and then were grounded in the afternoon because of the wind.  In late afternoon, they started up again and gave a few more rides.

The Southwest Flying Club had a BBQ around 5:30 and a historical powerpoint put on by the Museum.

The planes departed for Regina after 7 pm.

the little joys of summer...

freshly picked strawberries...to make jam or freeze them?!?!

i really just wanted to eat them fresh, but knew i wouldn't have enough to make my jam!

Some have seen me in person and think they know...
Some have seen me in person and thought they knew but may have changed their mind...

* heartrate: anywhere from 150-160...mostly around 155
* carrying: well you can tell from the pic (low I would say?)
* I've dreamt a few times about having a boy...oh and actually one time it was a black cat! I hoped the cat would turn into a baby! (oh how your dreams are strange...!!!)
