A yummy post

I tried this recipe from Pinterest a few weeks ago and as I post this, the dish is in my oven again!

It's so easy: arrange 4-6 raw chicken breasts, cut up potatoes and green beans in a 9x13 pan. Then melt a stick of butter (I used margarine -1/2 cup) and add a packet of Clubhouse Italian dressing mix to the margarine. Stir and pour over top of the chicken, potatoes, and beans. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour!
So yummy!

The Italian dressing mix is not the easiest to find, but I found the packages in our local Giant Tiger! I also wonder if just the pre-made Italian salad dressing would work too!?! I'm sure it would!

Hockey time with cousins

Last Friday night (Feb. 8th) we took in supper and a hockey game with Lee&Dana&co. Tyson was the 7th man if the game so it was fun to watch that!

Thomas either sat on his own seat or with daddy and Uncle Lee!

Mr. Independent

Our little baby is not so much a baby anymore. He's been feeding himself for a while now and is really using his words! Like please and thank-you!
I will have to upload some videos.
As you can see he likes to talk on his fork.

The last pic is of him wanting to go to school, so he got his own toque on and waiting for a bit of help with his coat! He can do some of that too!

Daddy's gloves...

Last Saturday, Thomas insisted on wearing his daddy's gloves...pretty much all day! He wore them to drive his tractor, drive his gator, fly his airplane and drive his mail cart! In order to keep them on, he had to hold his hands up to his head! Quite the kid...

well folks, it's been quite the thing for me to finally get caught up on this blog. 
I retired the blackberry and got the new iPhone 5, so I have been taking pictures and videos on that quite a bit.  And as a result, I don't have much for pictures on my regular camera for January and February!!!

I have installed the new "blogger" app to my phone, so I will try to use that and keep you up-to-date with the photos I have taken with my phone in the last month!...maybe I will do that sometime in the next week!

I am glad for a week's break next week, looking forward to some company, some catch up on things around the house (I can scratch "update the blog" pretty well off my list), and hopefully have some rest and relaxation as well!
