may 29th

 

tues may 29th at suppertime we took off up to dylan & janaya's... we only planned on staying for one night and ended up staying for 3!!!! so fun to get some time with them!

this past week...

we had a busy week...

monday may 14 - we went to town to watch tyson run for  his track&field, and pick up our garage sale items at great-gma's, we biked over to gpa & gma's for supper - aunty caryn & cousin adasyn are down for the week

thomas had an audience, all the kids loved him at track!

tuesday may 15 - town again, groceries and tutoring

new bath toys

wednesday may 16 - birthday cake for adasyn, staff mtg & bbq for me while tommy gets to play with gma, aunty & addy

thursday may 17 - made buns, we went to the spring tea at the school, where i picked up some more plants :) , gpa&gma, aunty & addy came for supper and playtime

friday may 18- gma arlene's retirement party (supper & evening)

we had a surprise retirement party for arlene. folks dressed up in hospital attire and we had a potluck. we then presented her with a "wish you well" memory book. it was a fun night!

i thought this picture was too cute, so it gets a post of its own!

this picture was taken on may 15th - so thomas is 8 months and 1 week here...

he has his 2 bottom teeth and is crawling around like crazy... (got his teeth and crawling around same time - 8 months!)

he also just boogies in his walker... there is no stopping this boy now! he is a much happier baby now that he is mobile.  he loves walking too (with the help of two hands, and sometimes only one!)

just this past week is finally when he decided that he likes eating! before it was very hit and miss. he doesn't like pureed foods, so "whole" table foods is what he gets and what he loves!

mother's day 2012 - may 13

for mother's day lunch, lee, dana & co joined us.

the boys set up our lawn chairs and picnic table for the season then barbequed hamburgers. we also had regular & sweet potato fries, and yummy lemon square for dessert.

it was a beautiful day, weather-wise and just because. it was  my first mother's day. a wonderful day.



we finished the day with a bike ride in town. thomas loved every minute of the new adventure!
